Raffaele Battaglini deals with internationalization and innovation of enterprises assisting SMEs and start-ups. He obtained a Master LL.M. in Innovation, Technology and the Law from the University of Edinburgh. He has always been close to the world of innovation and technology, he is one of the co-organizers of Legal Hackers Turin, a global community at the intersection between law and innovation.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN PROTECTION OF WEARABLE DEVICE
Wearable devices are in great ascent, designed and manufactured to facilitate or improve life quality; just think of wearable instruments for athletes and how they monitor their athletic performance. To get to the product, however, you need to take technical and intellectuals steps which require investments of both time and capital. Behind the output, therefore, there are intangible assets that have to be protected as to not see your efforts thwarted. Can you protect the idea or product? How?
